| DESIGN NAME: BNP Paribas ZigZag PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office INSPIRATION: The inspiration behind this project is the PLAY. To create a signature element, that allows you to redefine the space, the function and the sense in something such trivial as Contact center office. To use this signature element to create an overall aesthetics for the whole space, defining a playful and cozy environment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The great challenge in this particular project was to create signature design for the new office of BNP Paribas. The goal was to redefine totally the idea, how a Contact Center office should look like. To break the typical pattern of monotone grid and color palette. To design a fluid and colorful spaces and micro-spaces, which correspond and interact with each other, integrating areas for relax, for collaboration and for focused work process. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It is a place to work better, because you feel better, to have fun, to refresh yourself through playful environment and creative interactions. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The workstation units are by DA architects individual design, created especially for this office project and they do not have analogue in the office equipment. One single unit is 90 to 120 cm x 70 cm x 120 cm width x depth x height. They are composed of steel legs, laminated worktop and upholstered acoustic dividers. The flooring is carpet tiles and there are places, where the carpet goes on the walls too. For the recreation and collaboration areas, a combination of white and oak elements is used. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1360 sq.m. TAGS: innovative, office design, contemporary, playful, enjoyable RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We used several spatial analysis, in order to define the best balance between playful and at the same time effective and convenient office environment. CHALLENGE: One of the most difficult creative challenges of the project was to create from scratch a module workstation, especially for this particular design.
