DESIGN NAME: View Change
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Glasses
INSPIRATION: Due to height limitations, my line of sight is always blocked in the crowd, so I hope to achieve a broader perspective by breaking such limitations. I started to pay attention to more viewing behavior. I hope to explore more types of viewing angles to give the wearer a unique visual experience.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Trying to reflect on accustomed viewing behavior, hoping to break the traditional stereotype of glasses, explore a new viewing perspective, so as to obtain a new form of discourse. The principle of goggles and mirror materials are applied to the glasses structure. The mirror materials will refract the view from different angles, so that the wearer can obtain a unique visual experience. It will create a new communication method.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By wearing glasses, you can get a view in different directions, such as height, left and right or back. When wearing glasses, the communicator will see the effect of the wearer's eye angle misalignment, thus creating a new way of communication.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This work was created and completed at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in June 2018, and it was the graduation work of my graduate student.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This product has an integral molding feature. It can be produced in batches by means of a 3D printed master model and then in the form of a die.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: These three works are inconsistent in individual dimensions, with a single size of approximately 20CM*20CM*25CM. Basically, the periscope refractive structure is used for creation.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I have been working on the habits of everyday life in everyday life, and I hope to break these traditional ideas through new ways. While noting the various limitations of viewing behavior, constantly experimenting with different materials and structures to obtain an unconventional viewing angle for the viewer. After many explorations and attempts, I found a solution in August 2016.
CHALLENGE: The principle of goggles and mirror materials are applied to the glasses structure. The mirror materials will refract the view from different angles.
