| DESIGN NAME: Minka Chocolate PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging INSPIRATION: Minka, manufactures its chocolates with fine cocoa Ecuadorian aroma. They have different collections that make Minka a unique chocolate. This collection of semi-finished chocolates are presented in elegant cardboard tubes that communicate their natural character through the texture of their packaging. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product presents chocolate connoisseurs with a world of sensations to taste the true flavour of cocoa at its best. It is handcrafted in Ecuador using traditional techniques combined with stringent quality controls. A blend of craftsmanship and technology that ensures a product of the highest quality. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The production of the creative concepts and design were done in Buenos Aires while the package printing was in Ecuador. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 7-color printed cardboard tube with copper foil stamping SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 21 x 19 cm TAGS: chocolate nibs, raw, food, delicatessen, premium, packaging design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research was based on the very origin of the product, the cocoa tree. The branch and the bean inspired us to create a simple yet iconic silhouette shape which is filled with bright colors to differentiate each variety. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to communicate that these are raw chocolate nibs and not an ordinary chocolate bar.
