| DESIGN NAME: Flag PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair INSPIRATION: Inspired by the Scandinavian style and minimalist design, the chair explores Brazilian materials and curved edges. The initial idea was to print in the shape of the piece, something that reminded a flag, to represent the moment of political crisis in Brazil, where it is spoken so much in respect the flag and love to Patria. The name of the piece also comes form of protest of a Country so rich, source of so many noble materials, as these, used in the chair. The straw brings the freshness and the Brazilian rusticity to the piece, without losing the sophistication and contemporaneity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The big challenge was to create something simple, with few lines, but with attractive design and that was different from what we have in the market. This chair was created to be a light piece, using Brazilian materials, such as straw, wood and metal. Comtemporary, with a feminine touch, as well as the studio proposal, it can be used in any environment. It has details in the silhouette to remember the flag, was drawn in the year 2018, in which Brazil faces its greatest political crisis in history. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A chair designed in Brazilian noble materials, to be used in various environments. With Scandinavian design and simple lines, the piece guarantees a clean and sophisticated environment. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Designed in China in July 2018.
