| DESIGN NAME: inzone PRIMARY FUNCTION: Shopping Mall INSPIRATION: The design concept of this project roots in going back to one thousand years ago,reviving the prosperous picture of ancient markets along rivers and allies.The elements of river ally,market and fair,boat and ship are the clues throughout space design,As if traveling under the rivers,with ever-changing landscape of each step,we take a glance from a hidden perspective of this splendor fantasy realm. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is implemented with the historical gene of located area.To dig into the unique cultural advantages belong to this project energize and signifies the spatial design.To extract and merge the elements of river ally.market and fair, boat and ship and to apply in use of spatial arrangement as clues,creates distinguishing visual impact and memorizable highlights.Take a small walk here"under the rivers".The startling moving"boat bottoms"will indulge you in a marvelous dream. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Main material:aluminium sheet, wood, stone; The giant atrium adopts natural daylighting for illumination.When daylight comes to interior through the two sides of atrium, sunshine shows enriched and detailed changes through grid-forming lines,which bestows the space a shivering beauty of light and shadows of waves. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Functionality:Accord TAGS: Inzone, Shopping mall, Shen junwei, Arizon design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The located city Dezhou is the west-north gate of Shandong Province.It has had the fame of"Reaching the Heaven,God-bestowed Entrance".It was an important transportation point of Eastern and Northern China.The passage of Dezhou occupies 141 km out of the 1500 km of Peking-Hangzhou Canal. According to the fantasy scenarios along the river allies from the design concept,sections are planted in the public spaces of each atrium.The interactive activities between people and space distinguishes the areas. CHALLENGE: The design concept of this project roots in going back to one thousand years ago,reviving the prosperous picture of ancient markets along rivers and allies. The giant atrium adopts natural daylighting for illumination. To establish a low energy consumption design for a shopping mall of 100,000 square meters. To design a thematic,scenarized shopping mall providing enjoying emotional experience. NAME: Shen junwei PROFILE: I’m Shen junwei, coming from Shanghai, China. I am the General Design Director, as well as the Founder of Arizon Design. I have 16 years of working experience in the field of commercial retailing space design. I believe that every project should develop the architecture aesthetic and commercial potential to the most extent. Through the perfectly balanced mergence of art and technology, we can create an experience that inspires imagination out of daily routine. Influenced by the culture of Chinese Confucius Philosophy, I think profoundly about how to make the human species and nature correspond harmoniously under the theory of “The Unity of Universe and Human”… I wish that the space we construct is a status of common existence. The conversation emerges between people and this environment can speak to the subconscious need of all participants. The environment invites all human to be part of it, upon which a universal pattern of relationship can be built. For the moment, my company focuses mainly on the design field of department stores and shopping centers. 1. For every one of the projects, we must exert all our efforts and fight to accomplish it in the best status. 2. I must continuously adjust the subtle balance between commercial operation and cost management, so that the design comes to physical existence. 3. My team must stay on alert throughout the whole project and think hard. We need to reach an agreement with the proprietors who share the common opinion and provide us the opportunity, making sure that they are aware of the vision the designers depict. Design drives the future of commerce. The only way for design to carry on, is through a thinking pattern with a heart fulfilled with imagination and freedom. My vision for this professionalism is to make full use of all the vocational knowledge, personal life experience and the accumulation of philosophical thinkings, so that the relationship between human and nature, from person to person can be demonstrated perfectly in a commercial space… |
