| DESIGN NAME: Premier Plus PRIMARY FUNCTION: Safety Basic Footwear INSPIRATION: Odair Ferro had some inspiration based on the outdoor footwear and his search to find the concept technology used to give comfort and create some visual possibilities for using it day by day and a perfect product with hiking characteristics in a safety basic product and so all users could be going to work or hiking outdoor at the weekend. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The unique feature of this design is to get it the highest comfort with the better shape. By associating in to the technologies used on the boot lining, his created the best product with a great performance and it fit well on the feet as well as it can help to control the temperature inside the boot with Nano capsules the same used in astronauts’ clothes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The production flow is the normal set up for safety Footwear, cutting, preparation, stitching, Strobel stitching, Lasting and sole Dual density directly injection PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Project started in July 2016 in Dores de Campos Brazil and Finished in October the same place it and was exhibited in Fisp Fire Show in São Paulo in October 2016. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The production of this footwear has a great set up, it use a wide last so it can provide more comfort.The lasting process is strobel stitching and the dual density sole occurs by directly injection followed by the addition of an orange TPU plate to give more stability. Following the usage of the materials to control the temperature the same technology used in the astronaut’s clothes. The hooks are plastic made to provide less weight with pins to match with TPU Plate. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Nubuck Leather Outlast Lining materials with microcapsules to control the temperature Laces in Polyester, Stiffener In thermoplastic, Insole in Synthetic Material, Inner sole in Pu, the sole Pu/Pu dual density directly injected and orange TPU Plate TAGS: Safety, basic, tracking , hiking, outdoor, work, day by day, footwear, walking, comfort RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Odair Ferro got many experience in the safety Footwear his research was find the correct composition and combination in materials suggestions to match the original inspiration. CHALLENGE: The Odair Ferro's challenge to research and do the creative process for this project was mainly concerned to find the correct material to give comfort and propose thermal control and safety basic. The most difficult was to get the material for shoes with the technology to control the feet temperature because there are not many companies doing specific material for shoes. His met a supplier to hear the idea and put the same technology used in the astronaut's clothes on the footwear lining so get it the perfect product.
