| DESIGN NAME: CORK collection PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry INSPIRATION: The inspiration for the collection was a variety of wine corks with various and unique inscriptions, emblems and saturated wine color/ UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Jewels from wine corks and metal. This collection is quite unusual with new design solution, combining polished gilding not with gems, but with wine corks. Unique lettering and logos on cork emphasize the originality of each model. We provide an opportunity to create an individual jewelry with your favorite cork or cork from the bottle you opened for a significant moment of your life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The details of the corkscrew pendant repeat the moving parts of a real corkscrew. We provide an opportunity to create an individual jewelry with a cork from the bottle opened for a significant moment of life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project has started in 2017 and is a result of the second year of studying in British Higher School of Art and Design, Moscow, Riussia |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Jewelry is made of brass with gold plating and wine corks. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The corks can be replaced. Jewelry package looks like a wooden box for a bottle of wine. TAGS: jewelry, wine corks, corkscrew, rings, cork, brooche, pendant, necklace RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Working on the collection I have analyzed various items related to the wine theme and took that elements that help to realise the design task the best way.
