| DESIGN NAME: Chips BCBG PRIMARY FUNCTION: Food Packaging INSPIRATION: Our agency was inspired by clean and impacting packaging, especially from the United Kingdom and Brazil. We also take a lot of inspiration from packaging from Favourite Design and a Design Award Books. We are looking also inspiration on Instagram. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The brand of BCBG craft chips offers top quality manufacturing with great creativity of recipes and flavors. The new range is based on a series of characters in the shape of chips which illustrates the recipe of each product with a fun and warm tone. Each character is an unique creation because each product has a unique taste.. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Chips are made in the south of France with natural products. No coloring agents and preserving products. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in 2009 and we create the last one this year, in 2019, the products are now distributed in all SNCF bar wagons, but also at Carrefour, Intermarché and Monoprix in France. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The graphics used for the range of chips is a clean and impacting graphic. The lightness given to packaging connotes the product as a natural product, healthy and authentic. Each product is represented by a friendly character. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The big packaging measures 200 mm width x 300 mm height and the small one measures 200 mm width x 200 mm height. TAGS: chips, design, packaging, minimal, food RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We first thought about a range of characters corresponding to each product in the range. Then we drew with Illustrator and adapted them according to the product. We CHALLENGE: Modernize the range without losing customers. Stand out from other packets of chips to attract new customers.
