INSPIRATION:
The inspiration comes directly from moonlight, the idea was to create a lamp with a real identity and presence. The stance and orientation give this impression of a singular item waiting for something.
Moon aim to express the softness light of the moon, a poetic way to evoke comfort, tranquility and silence.
The shape is voluntarily smooth and round as it holds the light effects and evoke night lights.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Moon evoke the moonlight shape and avoid all technical aspects to push ahead the poetry of a natural element, this lamp is versatile and could be used in several situation such as wall lamp, lounge lamp or sleeping room lamp, it is produced with one cost-effective silicone molding shade and led source.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
the lamp can be declined in wall and floor lamp, the gradable light is obtained by turning the dimmer in the bottom of the lamp

the project began in january 2017 and finish in june 2017

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
This lamp Produced with one cost-effective silicone molding shade, is a blink to magic due to the way the cable disappears in the double shade space. The choice of material and specially silicone allow to have low expensive development, large choice of colors and an unbreakable product. Moon can be declined in three shapes, round, conic, or oval, to be placed on a bedside, on floor or wall. Shade 1 : silicone Shade 2 : polyethylene Stand : aluminium and fabric Source : E27 or leds bulb. Base : steel and silicon coating (option)

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
A global research of existing products was made especially in hotel furniture, to be able to create a valuable design , the design has to fullfill product specification to be realistic and propose a poetic design.
CHALLENGE:
The real challenge was to create a lamp range to afford a public or domestic target , technical simplicity and cost production where to be reasonable .
