RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This layout composition strategy of this project was of open-plan format with bedrooms located on either sides of the residence while restoring the window views to the maximum visual width and depth, as the spectacular shoreline vista was brought into the interior, and have it framed as a manifestation of entrance semantics upon entry; for the sake of privacy, it was a conscious decision to utilize electrically-operating louvre blind integrated with ambiance control system for control.
CHALLENGE: Main point of consideration was how to articulate the minimalist styling, as preferred by the owner, while imbuing the sense of unparalleled quality. Lastly, it was decided to allow the space to return to double-height and large-plan quality, complemented with matching naturalistic materials and decorative line work.
