| DESIGN NAME: Source of Life - Longfor Group PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: Nature is inartificial treasure to designers who draw inspirations and extract those to art works. Its tremendous beauty is formed in an unconscious environment like peach tree not caring whether its flowers beautiful or not. Designer seeks for an ideal space where nature and life can organically coexist and also where nature shows its real beauty. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Colossal artistic installation 'Life' is the tension of space which surreal dream gives graceful natural texture like leaf veins like barks. Artistic expression skill and extremely graphic structure transfer the dream to a combination of art and nature. Almost ten meters high, the vertical-feeling 'Life' which shapely appearance designed elaborately leaves space for imagination. Stainless steel and stone apply on background and carving is added for abundance. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Meeting area involves more rationality under champagne gold where three-hundred bottles of wine set the standard of orderliness and details. While high-saturation bright colors, abstract sculptures, notional culture pictures bring artistic fantasy feeling emphasizing extension power. Soft lights blur the border merging all things to a whole. Embedded antique-and-curio shelves are highly engaged into whole style benefit by same material and vertical style. Beige wood veneer surround white stone consisting caracole, different shades of blue blocks strew on art work forming the texture of sea which spreads out artistic quality. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Located in Chengdu, the space 'Source of Life' showcases an environment with a series of design skill including symbolization, artisanship, culturalization, emotion, visional extension, etc. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 730m². TAGS: interior design, colossal artistic installation, aesthetics of nature RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The colossal artistic installation is the most time expended part of the whole space, involving time and energy in design, setting, finishes, etc and finally presents great and impressive results.
