RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This work is motivated from a korean royal place, and Designer wanted to emphasize the korean own traditional patterns in design
CHALLENGE: In beginning, he tried to use the traditional patterns of a palace or a temple in exactly the same way.
However, it was difficult to put all features into the pakage.
in addition, it was a challenge to present an unique feature that only korea owns.
Since, there are similar features and patterns which Korea, China,Japan have commonly used, and he guess foreigners would feel difficult to distinguish between them.
Futhemore, it was not easy to reconstruct and modernize Korean ancient patterns.
The solution of Designer have made started from making differences with Sake design.
Thus, designer ends up avoiding zen style and he used the unique roof colors of Korean traditional structure by using modern graphic design
