RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The collection started from researching designers own culture. South Korea is a well known country with high pressure on education. The high expectation on education is related with social status.
The designer relates the idea of social status to the collection, and relates this with "Macaroni" from 1770 London. He connects The Macaroni and Logo addicted customers today.
The garment details are based on Macaroni costumes combined with current fashion trend.
CHALLENGE: It was hard to produce right amount of fabrics since the collection was heavily focused on gathering details.
The whole process of printing took very long time, so it was difficult to manage the time between fabric design and garment production.
