| DESIGN NAME: The Garden at Bougival PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Interior Design INSPIRATION: Paint the residential abode with mindset of French 1860'. In the 19th century, when it comes to "Impressionnism UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The style is away from extravagance but with warmth and elegance. Mild color scheme is throughout the abode. Avoid complicated decorative onlays and carved mouldings, in order to stand out the harmony between broad living space and careful furniture configuration. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Soft tone and explicit forms run throughout all spaces. Different colors define each section: royal blue rules the living room, ivory dining area, and bedroom imbues with lavender. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: By post-modernism approach, we deconstructed marble into small pieces, and re-arrange them in orderly array at the TV backdrop in living room. To add glass or mirror under pierced mouldings, is not only expanding spatial wideness, but also allowing sunlight to shine everywhere at the same time. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 149 square meters TAGS: impressionism, post-modernism, french, decoration RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Classic french moulding patterns and mild color combinations among drapes, wallpapers, and decoration. CHALLENGE: Wardrobes and chore storage are perfectly invisible by hidden doors behind moulding decoration, to win both style and storage area at once.
