| DESIGN NAME: Benjamin Moore Wuxi PRIMARY FUNCTION: Showroom INSPIRATION: The white hollow blocks with different size are used as the showcases in the middle while many smaller solid white blocks are well fixed up on the rainbow wall to be a world map.The inspiration of the main exhibition wall comes from the color pallete. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In order to hightlight the products,the colors of orange yellow,black,grey and white are used as the main tone of the space.The main exhibition wall is painted orange yellow to attract consumers' attention.The low saturation grey window which makes the samples more eye catching is like a color pallete to provide much space for consumers' to pick up their farvorites. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The designer tried to increase space flexibility to stimulate people's imagination and creativity and to bring more interactivity between people and the space. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started from August to September 2017.The showroom opened in Janurary 2018 in Wuxi. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Basing on the understanding of the client's products and sales process,the designer uses colors as the theme of the space while some low saturation colors such as black,grey and white are used as the contrast making the theme more dazzling. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 140 square meters. TAGS: interactivity, immersive, pallette, contrast, customer oriented RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Benjamin Moore is a world-renowned painting company integrating high-tech R&D, production and sales.The designer tried to present a space where the brand and the products can be conveyed to the consumers efficiently and vividly. CHALLENGE: Express the brand accurately and let the consumers have the immersive experience in color picking up and applying.
