| DESIGN NAME: Vello PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bar Cart INSPIRATION: A Bar cart with aesthetic refinement and inspired by the design of the Brazilian modernist avant-garde with traits of minimalism. The name Vello is due to the car being linked to speed, to movement, as well as its bold and emotive design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A minimalist piece with warm strokes of Brazilian avant-garde design, the idea of this Cart was to create a light and flexible piece that could be used as a bar, table, and sideboard. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project started in january 2017 in Londrina Brazil, finished in august 2017 in Caxias do Sul , Brazil. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Made with wood and molded carbon steel rebar. Board top in leather/ ecologic skin leather. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions: Width : 134 cm - Depth : - 64 cm Height : 65 cm TAGS: MINIMALISM, CART, BAR, TABLE, BRAZILIAN, DESIGN, RONCCA, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: first I studied more about the icons of the Brazilian design, to have a parameter of aesthetic research, in the sequence I searched for correlates of cart bars, close to my idea, that existed in the market. Then I abstracted the formats of the current cars and tried to bring to a use and contemporary style, Minimalist and warm at the same time. CHALLENGE: in relation to the proportion initially had to adapt sometimes the wood and the metal tube to become visually balanced.
