| DESIGN NAME: Simplicity Apartment PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: It is important to generate a sense of engagement in a house. Transparency, colour and segregation was in placed to connect a strong coherence. When simplicity meets openness, all these outline create a flexibility of how a space can be physically inject with new energy yet conducive. Another highlight triggered a soft touch from the loose furniture that showcase a long spoken friend gracefully established a casual look. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Technology is changing the world as radically as the industrial revolution. This apartment has set back the world’s transformation and reinstated back the primitive of simplicity. Perhaps the form and shape is rather transparent with an aesthetically panoramic view and rich colour strategy. The distinctive layout was to openly subdivide the living, dining, study & master bedroom but yet presented as a core space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Circulation become part of the cohesiveness for the home owner. The notion of the space resonate as a homely stay away from work. Rooms extended an uncluttered vision, to draw a large photographic studio scenery. Sizable mirror was underlined on the wall, simply play with the magnify effect and a style of narratives. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: A constant craft-like timber finish was sheltered to dominate the emptiness of the apartment. Across the walkway, grey vinyl floor was punctuated to neutralise the harsh brightness. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1000 sqft TAGS: Transparency, openness, dialogue RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: Transformation conform individualised. The creative challenge was to strike a balance of privacy and a natural light openness. Apart from erecting confine walls, glass panel was exposed to easily recognise as a divider yet an evocation of penetration.
