| DESIGN NAME: Original PRIMARY FUNCTION: Capsule with reminder function INSPIRATION: I got this inspiration from those elder who with poor vision mistake expired drugs. When I watch a TV program about slow release technology,I have an idea to help those disable user to recall the validity by appearance changing of capsule. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: All products have their own life cycle, including medicine and supplement. However, it is sometimes difficult for those elder to recall a capsule's validity date because of excellent package technology. Consuming expired drugs is a risk to health. The main conception of this design is to use slow release technology to let the mould pattern to be pre-determined onto the shell of the capsule. This is preset pattern will emerge when the drug is nearing its expiry date. This is a user-centered design created to improve everyday life OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in December 2015 and finished in March 2016 in Shanghai.
