| DESIGN NAME: Divaldi Amp PRIMARY FUNCTION: Headphone amplifier INSPIRATION: Our first designs were developed in the 80’s, mainly systems designed to play music in clubs, followed by individual AV systems and stage lighting. After over 30 years of experience we have decided to immerse our visions and experiences into something physical and mass but in the same time something that would have its own soul. That’s how the idea to develop high-end devices, which would invisibly connect a human with technology emerged UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: AMP – is a small device, embodiment of all dreams, that its designers wanted to create for many years. It is a miniature monument of Polish engineering and artistic thought, contained in an extraordinary, beautiful, minimalistic form. AMP – is a successful attempt of integrating a genuine headphone amplifier and a phono MM preamplifier in a very modest and small body. What’s even more remarkable, this has been achieved while maintaining dual mono construction. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Easy to use, designed to listen to music through a headphones and mainly from gramophones. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The amplifier works in class A. All PCB's boards are hand made. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Output power: 850 mW (Class A), 3.5W max. (impulse) Output load: min 30 Ohm - 600 Ohm Dynamics: 80 dB Frequency response: 20 Hz - 20 kHz (+/- 0.5 dB) Distortion: 0.2% at 1 kHz Gain:20 dB Input: RCA linear (for analogue devices with CD, DVD, B-RAY, DAC, PC, etc.), RIAA turntable RCA for MM recorders Fit to MM insert: 47 kOhm (100pF) Headphone output: 6,3 mm stereo jack Power supply: 16 V AC Power Consumption: 15 W max Material: aluminium Dimensions: width: 115mm height: 53 mm depth: 102mm Weight: 700 g TAGS: Divaldi, amplifiers, High-End, Class A, headphones amplifier RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In 2010 first projects were brought to life in Burgund series, it consisted: an amplifier, preamplifier, loudspeaker and gramophone, mainly developed by Waldemar Łuczkoś. The devices have been featured on many occasions with audiophiles and the at the Audio Show, rising recognition for its acoustic qualities and rare, turntable design featuring two arms. After this first success, we have set the main goal for further development: to combine best sound quality with modern, exclusive and professional performance. Today we are proudly presenting our first devices, which we will systematically develop. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of design was to find the best electronic components. NAME: DIVALDI PROFILE: Many people ask where has Divaldi brand name came from. It’s a combination of two founders names: Dival (the phonetic pronunciation of Duval) and Valdi (that’s what Waldemar Łuczkoś is usually called), this word also brings to mind a name of great a composer and that is a pure coincidence but lucky one as it suggests music.. |
