RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to protect the traditional cultural heritage, we decided to make the cross-border fusion of Chinese opera elements and novel works in artistic design. A classic case for cross-border integration, it is an wonderful thing when you have a story to tell behind tea set.
CHALLENGE: The design of the flying handle is very difficult to achieve, so firing process was a great challenge. During production process, in order to let the design concept come true, designers did many trails and explorations and constantly improve the firing process, finally succeed. This may be the longest flying handle in thousand years of Zisha history.
