| DESIGN NAME: Double Trouble PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jacket INSPIRATION: Happiness is a feeling who waits to be awake at every step you take. No matter what is happening around you, no matter what you gain or lose, happiness is a lifestyle. The sun rises and falls, but a new dawn is there waiting for us all the time. Feeling contented and fulfilled is one first step in achieving that inner happiness you are supposed to find. Everything depends on how we act and think, because in the end to be happy is also a choice. We are as happy as we want to be! UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A little bit edgy, a little bit shinny, a little bit bad-ass. "Double Trouble Jacket" is unique because it's two in one! One side is made of natural jute, the other one is made by fizzy waterproof fabric. The jute will keep you really warm and comfy, as the waterproof will get you a nice, dry and also stylish outfit. Black IS the new black. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Double Trouble Jacket is in fact a double tricky pleasure.The big plus of this jacket is the fact that it has different fabrics on both sides that can match different outfits, and different moods. The main concept of the jacket is that it allows you to swim trough the senses; so you can feel cozy, comfy and cool at the same time. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Jacket was made from jute and waterproof fabric. Both passed through a different process in order to transform the texture, not only from a visual point of view, but also palpably. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The jacket was made to fit all sizes: from 34 to 42.From small to large( S/L). TAGS: Unique, Versatile, Minimalist, Unmistakable, Fashionable. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I never did a research for my product, I totally let my creativity to speak for itself but the idea for its story started from defining happiness.Happiness is here with you, everytime. When you look back into the past and experience a happy memory, you are actually recreating and reexperiencing that moment in the present. Happiness is something that only exists in the present. You find this truth when you stop seeking and start being. CHALLENGE: Happiness is not the icecream cone, the happiness is truly a state of being. When you are lost in the moment, happiness is there. When you look back into the past and experience a happy memory, you are actually recreating and re-experiencing that moment in the present. Happiness is something that only exists in the present. You find this truth when you stop seeking and start being. Lose yourself in the present moment and re-connect with the happiness that is already available. This is the story. NAME: Reprobable PROFILE: In its fundaments, Reprobable is underlined by an unique need to live the freedom undisturbed. Happiness is after all defined by freedom, isn’t it?When you are not chained by your own lies, when you are fine with who you are and accept yourself not willing to care about the reactions of the society, of family or friends that means to live your life through self-love and acceptance.This is the foundation of freedom. Just by being straight forward and transparent. This is what Reprobable means and all it’s collections, as you can find all those characteristics in all its collections like the evolution steps I took at the specific moment. With other words, Repobable is metamorphosis, All its collections would be represented by metamorphosis. And no, is far from being metaphoric. All Reprobable wants to express, is that just as today is the same what it was yesterday, so is the midi dress from lesson 1, only that today you can wear it as an office shirt. We just shortened the pattern, we added sleeves and replaced the zipper with buttons. That dress was born versatile and adaptable from the start. See where he is heading? What he wants to emphasise is that evolution is very different from change. And all this because today compared to yesterday, it knows more. It learned to face the fear. It accepts it and loves it, it doesn’t cause anxiety, it’s not unclear anymore. This is Reprobable. And that's the story! |
