| DESIGN NAME: X mark PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interspersed INSPIRATION: The X mark furnitures design is the manifestation of the symbiotic meaning of nature. Through the morphological structure interspersed with the form of interspersed to show the growth of stagnant patterns of natural trees, the use of solid wood material makes users feeling in the nature. Selection the most suitable angle of ergonomics and composing with modern aesthetic modeling requirements, reflect the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The X mark furnitures using a combination of structural interspersed to make it unique shape. The connection position of the whole set of furniture adopts the vertical interspersed structure, which not only ensures the aesthetics of the design but also ensures the rationality of the structural function. The combination of layers of interspersed natural language makes sense of natural growth into X mark design. The whole set of furniture selection is solid wood and therefore closer to nature. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The X mark furnitures consist of three parts which is chair, side tables, floor lamps. Users can sit in the chair to adjust the angle of the lamp to meet their own needs. Side table is divided into two layers, you can display the main items and secondary items. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It started in Shenyang in September 2017, completed in Shenyang in January 2018, and was exhibited in the Art Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June 2018. NAME: LuXun Academy of Fine Arts PROFILE: The predecessor of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts (LAFA) was the Yanan-based Luxun Arts College (LAC) founded, in 1938, by the pioneering generation of Chinese Revolutionaries including Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. Mao personally handwrote the Motto of LAC: “Strenuousness, Seriousness, Diligence and Modesty”. The college was removed to Northeast China in 1945 and evolved to Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1958. |
