| DESIGN NAME: Visigo PRIMARY FUNCTION: Medium Size Coach INSPIRATION: Visigo is designed and inspired to be journey companion rather than just being a coach. With this starting point; while exterior design is strong, characteristic and aerodynamically sculpted with its continuous, strict and dynamic lines, interior design is strictly attached to home-feel concept and maximum feeling of spaciousness. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 9,5 meter medium coach, Visigo, provides a comfortable journey to the driver and the passengers with its stylish interior and exterior design, and comfort equipments. Having capacity up to 39 comfortable seats and high level comfort equipments, Visigo turns the long-haul rides into pleasant journeys for the passengers just like a full size coach. Huge luggage compartment serves the passengers with their belongings which is essential especially in airport and intercity transportations. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Visigo is designed to be operated in the medium-haul journeys such as airport, intercity and touristical area transportations. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Mainly conventional methods are used in the production process of Visigo, and engineered to be lighter than its competitors. The vehicle’s chassis and main structural elements are made out of steel and aluminium. Structure supports outer shell which is sheet metal, fiber reinforced polymer and tempered glass according to its placement and form. Inner surfaces has varying materials and production methods, which are ABS, PU, PVC and various composites. Moodboards are prepared to have a perception of current form tendencies, color, material and finishing trends researches and technological advancements. CHALLENGE: The challenge in the design process of Visigo was to design 9,5 m medium-haul vehicle with the comfort and aesthetical requirements of a long-haul vehicle.
