DESIGN NAME: JUS Cold Pressed Juicery
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Drink Branding and Packaging
INSPIRATION: Our mission is researching and finding the right solution both in terms of visual identity as well as art direction to create an unique sustainable cold pressed juice brand in Vietnam. Since cold-pressed juice is a complete new product in Vietnam, JUS is the pioneer to break the barrier, therefore, the challenge is huge.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: JUS (short for Juice Up Saigon) is a raw, cold-pressed juice company. Founded in Sep 2015 by three people sharing the same love for a healthy life, their journey starts from Saigon, one of the most busiest city in Southeast Asia. Juice Up Saigon offers a simple, delicious way to integrate plant-based health into a busy life because they believe that nutritious and delicious juices could be made practical and ready for everybody.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Beside using a strange shape of bottle to contrast with market as well as following the brand concept, the minimal branding design help highlight the colorful palette of JUS products, making them standing out on their own.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was started in July 2015 and launched completely in September 2015. The first store was opened after Tet 2016 under our interior direction for the whole chain.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Based on the concept of equilateral triangle of yoga that connects body, spirit and mind together, we created an unique equilateral triangle bottle shape. We're choosing PET bottle to well-reserved the juice and easier for transferring from lab to stores.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The context of living healthy, providing the right juices for busy daily life is still new to Vietnam, even for the most crowded and developed city like Saigon. In order to tell the true brand story without overdoing it and overlap the beauty of the product, we're creating a brand with minimalism as core, to highlight the lifestyle in the most humble way possible.
CHALLENGE: It's not an easy task to spread minimalism around town, and especially Vietnam, not to mention cold-pressed juice is still a completely new product. Our team was taking a mission of maintaining art direction alongside with internal marketing team, for promotion, collaboration and expanding the markets. After two years, the brand was standing out completely and known as the best local brand for cold-pressed juice.
