| DESIGN NAME: Creator Z-01 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Discoloration Cling Films INSPIRATION: By adding this time-reminding function, we can give the user a clear indication of the degree of food preservation so as to reduce food waste. Reducing food waste and helping people enjoy food when it is at its most fresh is the greatest benefit of this design. Of course, it is also more beneficial for the user themselves, helping them to reduce unnecessary waste and reduce the probability of eating bad food. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Unlike ordinary cling films, this new cling film has a little green tree printed on it. The moment you put packaged food into the refrigerator, it starts monitoring time. This little green tree is made of special environment-friendly coating, which slowly changes colour when it comes into contact with the air and moisture in the refrigerator. The colour changes from green to yellow within 1 to 5 days. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Step 1: Tear off the packaging seal Step 2: Pull out the cling film Step 3: Use the enclosed cutting knife to cut off the film Step 4: Pack the food and put it into the refrigerator PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2017 in Xiamen and finished in November 2017 in Xiamen. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This little green tree is made of special environment-friendly coating, which slowly changes colour when it comes into contact with the air and moisture in the refrigerator. The colour changes from green to yellow within 1 to 5 days. This way, it can be judged how long the food has stayed in the refrigerator. It is a simple but effective method.
