| DESIGN NAME: Grow up PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional crib INSPIRATION: Usually a crib can only be used before the child 1 year old, after the children grow up the crib is useless, in most cases can only give as gifts or discarded.This Grow crib is inspired by the swing in the park. It is based on a swing shape ,it is made of wood and hemp rope. During the growth of children, by changing the way of the components connecting, the crib can achieve three modes of use,meet the needs during the process of child development. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This crib is based on the sustainable design concept.During the growth process of children, three usage modes are set.The first mode is the infant bed which is used in infancy, Hanging on the shelf is less noisy and more comfortable.The second mode is the children's desk , the top of shelves can be suspended lamps and other objects;The third mode is the hanger mode, which can hang large amounts of clothing,and the cribs can be used as baskets to store toys, clothing,etc. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When using the crib , parents can easily shake the bed. Due to the bed is suspended by the hemp rope, so parents can shake the baby bed without friction noise and the baby will not have the bumpy feeling. When the baby grows to 3-12 year-old children, By changing the position of the baffle and changing the length of the hemp rope, the position of the bed is increased to become a desk that is suitable for children. When the child grows up again, the bed can be placed on the ground as a coat rack and a toys basket. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Projekt dauer is 4 months.The project started from January until the end of June in Wuhan. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The crib is attached by a tenon process without metal fittings for added beauty and environmental protection. Manufactured using wood and hemp rope, the material is cheap and easy to process, and it also is easy to machine.Crib components are machined to dramatically increase productivity and it is suitable for mass production. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the crib is 1100 mmx650 mmx1500mm .but the package size is 1100 mmx650 mmx300mm，Products using flat packaging, can greatly reduce the transport and storage volume, cost savings.
