| DESIGN NAME: Anqa 60m Motor Yacht PRIMARY FUNCTION: 60m Motor Yacht INSPIRATION: Anqa derived her name from the mythological "Phoenix bird".Which lives for years before it dies by bursting into flames.From the pile of ashes, a new Phoenix arises, young and powerful.The phoenix flies far ahead to the front, always scanning the landscape and distant space.It represents our capacity for vision,for collecting sensory information about our environment and the events unfolding within it.The phoenix,with its great beauty,creates intense excitement & deathless inspiration. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Anqa is a custom yacht that interpreted all the usual references to the world of explorer yachts to bring a new perspective.Clothed with flowing yet powerful lines as a promise of a seafaring grace.The elegance and dynamism of the crafts lines are very much part of its DNA that observable inside and out.Deck areas offers panoramic views out over water while being protected against the elements.Diversity of spaces,gives the sense of a much larger yacht.Multi purpose areas are available onboard to enrich the spaces and adds a degree of flexibility in their use. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Anqa is a 60 meter three deck yacht, comprising a lower deck, main deck and bridge deck.Bridge deck offers a living area that includes an en-suite cabin, lounge and open/protected deck dedicated to the owner, and an en-suite cabin adjacent to the bridge for the captain. Anqa accommodates 16 permanent crew, including the captain and helicopter pilot, and for up to 10 guests in either double or twin en-suite cabins.Crew members has given good living quarters, including en- suite cabins and a good crew mess with desk areas.A Helicopter pad positioned at the stern in a sufficient size to accommodate a Eurocopter EC120B. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2017 and finished in November 2017 Milan. |

(over fenders): 12.30 m / Draught full load max. to base approx. : 3.30 m / Height main deck at the side: 6.80 m / Gross tonnage max. : 1,750 GT / Maximum speed approx. : 16 Knots / Range at 12 knots : 5000 NM TAGS: Anqa, motoryacht, superyacht, senajinen, explorer RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Anqa is suitable to carry tenders and toys within the garage space including a submersible.Deck areas are specially thought to offer good exterior visibility while being protected against the elements.Since the exterior deck areas are envisioned for extreme weather conditions,it clears the distinction between the indoor and outdoor spaces.So that with its' worldwide cruising mission, you can enjoy designated outdoor spaces,whatever the weather.In order to give the sense of freedom onboard, exterior deck spaces offers different levels of privacy to the guests and owners while enjoying outstanding views. CHALLENGE: Bridge deck is specially thought to have optimum visibility both forward, as well as to either beam, and as much visibility towards the stern.Anqa is able to carry tenders and toys (including a submersible) compatible with its worldwide cruising mission, and these can be sufficiently protected from the elements, also easy to launch.A helicopter pad positioned at the stern of the yacht in a sufficient size to accommodate a Eurocopter EC120B, with D-Value of 11.52 meters. NAME: Sena Jinen PROFILE: SenaJinen's career was launched as an Interior Designer.After 4 years of course she graduated from Bahcesehir University Faculty of Architecture,majoring on Interior Architecture & Environmental Design.While completing her degree she worked both in design offices & construction sites.In order to have a broad perspective she studied on other design fields like furniture design,sustainable design & exhibit design.She furthered her education by following her passion for yachts & completed her masters in yacht design,at Politecnico the Milano. |
