| DESIGN NAME: Sculpture White PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential villa INSPIRATION: If,a building is a sculpture.The steel art look irregular,but it actually combines in a regular way.Architecture is music in space,as it were a frozen music. Life, can be pretty simple. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the architecture exterior,we opened some holes and let them became windows. Then we hope window dimensions are the same as stone dimensions. We used the skill of permutations and combinations to create a building like sculpture. The windows look regular, but not exactly. People can see different scenery from different windows. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In terms of layout,the designer lined up all the essential spaces on the east side of the foundation so that the west side could present the different layers of the architecture.These layers were used to create a relaxing balcony area. The straight set of stairs is thoughtfully placed on the sturdy east wall, and a little courtyard allows light to reach the first floor. On the white wall there is a customized metal sculpture for the homeowner; it changes in different lighting, which creates shadows shifting throughout the day as if performing a dance. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2013 and finished in Febrary 2016.The location is in Miaoli Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Architecture, Building and Structure Design |

Three materials are used for the exterior,granite,Ger SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 14856.36mmx13708.93m TAGS: white, light, windows, sculptural, metal pieces RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Churchill once said,We shape our buildings,and afterwards our buildings shape us. After the owner moved into the house,it remained in good condition. Pure and simple spatial aesthetics gives the residents a carefree and enjoyable experience. CHALLENGE: Paint coated on the building is susceptible to rain and dust that will affect its exterior cleanliness.During construction we installed metal plates one centimeter thick under all possible drip lines to redirect any water,keeping the architecture clean.
