| DESIGN NAME: Incia Liquid Soap PRIMARY FUNCTION: Liquid Soap INSPIRATION: Incia launched a new liquid soap series consist of 100% natural ingredients. Packaging design alternatives which are inline with this claim and as pure as nature motto of the brand were prepared. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The product contains no additives and it has a superior cleaning performance without harming the skin flora. These features of the product were reflected in the form of packaging. Performance was highlighted with asymmetric and masculine shoulder details while a soft body form was designed for a sense of innocence. White color was prepared for the bottle to enhance purity and elegancy perception. A stylized leaf figure was applied to the bottle to emphasize naturalness aesthetically. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An elegant package design, which is not common for liquid soaps, was prepared for the product. Thus, decorative packages that can add beauty to bathrooms were obtained. Considering the cost and production constraints, ready-to-use pump preferred for the bottle. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The packaging material is polyethylene. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: H: 17 cm W: 8 cm D: 2 cm Volume: 250 ml TAGS: bottle, packaging, design, modern, unique, stylish, soap, ergonomics, natural RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Online research was conducted for the project. Several samples related liquid soap packaging and different bottle designs were collected and examined. Latest trends in bottle design and marketing, good and bad design examples, shortcomings of the category were all noted. Thus, the design process was started with a detailed knowledge of the competitors and category. CHALLENGE: Preparing a stylish packaging design which reflects 100% natural ingredients of the product was the main challenge of the project.
