| DESIGN NAME: Gatto Bianco PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bistro Restaurant INSPIRATION: Look forward to build a bistro provides not only nice food and beverage, but also a family-friendly recreation to residence from nearby community. Do not aim on what target customers will be, the space is set for creating a bright, animated, and carefree dining environment. Therefore the design scheme is retro industrial rather than modern approaches, playful and appealing just like storytelling in theatrical scenes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In this amusing street bistro, you can find many interesting, theatrical, scenes from iconic styles: vintage Windsor loveseats, Danish retro armchairs, French industrial chairs, and Loft leather barstools, situating at rustic backdrops of shabby-chic brick and wood texture. If come here to have a meal, customer will experience different dining ambience as long as he/she is served at different table sections. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Seats are compartmentalized by different styles of furniture pieces, rather than intentional divider walls or island cabinets. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To configure massive assorted furniture pieces, the backdrop and space flow must be fully considered. Follow industrial features, using black corrugated metal ceiling and slightly painted brick walls which retain raw mason appearance. Add colors on distressed-wood texture fence panels, and animate the owner’s logo as a cat playing on turfs, giving inviting and pleasing master vision. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 108 square meters TAGS: Retro, Vintage, Industrial, assortment RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Assorted furnishings of iconic styles from different cultural eras, making a playful and friendly dining and tea-time environment. CHALLENGE: To deliberately configure assorted furniture pieces from various eras of retro styles, and to avoid chaotic visualization.
