DESIGN NAME: One in Motion
PRIMARY FUNCTION: SURTECO fair stand
INSPIRATION: Surteco is a brand network with clear vision. New additions, trends and innovations of the strong alliance of brands should be shown. Stability, Growth, Openness, Reliability and Trust were the values to present. In order for the core competencies and to stand out better from the competition, it was important to generate a big picture. The aim was not simply to present areas of expertise. We wanted to bring them to life in a tangible, emotional experience.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 550 square metres of inspiration
The strength of SURTECO should be represented as an expansive brand sculpture, a big picture. The Inspiration was a fanned-out book which stands for openness and offers new content on each page. An expanded fair stand was built with trees reaching five metres into the vertical space unfolded the imposing diversity of the product range. Visitors embarked on a transformation between opportunities, a voyage of motion. In keeping with the promise of this year: ONE in Motion.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Surteco-design-stand at the interzum 2017 was impressing through its architecture and the amazing appearance. The booth was more confident through its openess, looks inviting, visitors were embarked on a journey through trees covered with different decor designs and trends. The centre of the staging was characterised by personal contacts with customers and visitors. The excellent service and catering completed the perfect finishing.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: We started with the first ideas/research in July 2016. In May 2017 the exhibition interzum 2017 took place in Cologne.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 550 square meters base, exhibits (trees) up to 5,3 meters, with a treetop of 9 meters outer diameter

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The slogan One in Motion and the key visual run like a central thread throughout the entire communication: online, offline, live – in ads, invitation, press, trend statement and at the fair stand. So the presented trends for the decor market 2018 are reflected not only on the theme-trees but also in a high-class trend book. Three key visuals follow the defined trends in the brochure, at the booth and in a trend-video. The fanned-out representation of the trees at the fair stand is taken up once again in the trend book.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge was to provide a joint direction for 7 brands under one roof by highlighing the expertise in design and technology. Different target groups, different brands and different corporate designs - these requirements have all been combined.
