RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We did materials research on how various building materials would affect the mood of the interior as well as the well-being and productivity of the occupants. We develop our concepts into clean lines, forms and neutral colours with several materials which we uses to showcase. This resulted with comfortable discussion areas, formal meeting rooms as well as informal discussion areas and kitchen for staffs to prepare their meals. These areas can also be used to showcase how materials affect the moods of their homes.
CHALLENGE: Our office was located within the industrial building and we wanted very much to have the relaxed interior within the heavy and busy Industrial Building. We meet up with various of building material suppliers for discussion to fully understand them and how we could customised and display the materials neatly and present them to our customers easily within reach without have to compromise on the mood we wanted to create within the office space.
