| DESIGN NAME: Ibiza PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wall Hung Wc INSPIRATION: Inspiration of the wc design is the the thin edges which creates an elegance. Contrast elements; which are geometric and organic, meets in Ibiza design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Organic flow and geometric precision thereby achieving a combination of elegance and emotion. Ibiza wall hang wc design offers easy cleaning and hygenic use with the rimless system. Functionality and hygenic use meets modern design with slim edges. Thanks to the thin and ergonomic lid design which creates aesthetic harmony and functionality. The thin edge and soft lines demonstrate a creative independence with Ibiza. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Ibiza wall hang wc design offers easy cleaning and hygenic use with the rimless system. Without any rim and with antibacterial surface; no harmful organisms can occur on wc. Wc bowl is totally visible with rimless design; user feels more comfortable and hygenic. User can be sure about the wc is clean in especially public areas such as hospitals, schools, shopping malls. Also; it is much easier to clean the wc. Every surfaces are visible and smooth. With easy cleaning; less detergant and water is used. This makes Ibiza wc an enviroment-friendly product. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2015 in Kayseri and finished in July 2016 in Kayseri. Product was exhibited in Unicera Ceramic Bathroom and Kithen Fair in İstanbul in 2017. It was also exhibited in Ish Fair in Frankfurt in 2017. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Wc is produced with Vitreous China(VC) ceramic, with an antibacterial glazed surface. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 370 mm x Depth 510 mm x Height 365mm TAGS: Rimless, Ibiza, Wc, Bathroom, Sanitaryware, Turkuaz, Geometric, Organic, Hygene, Elegance RESEARCH ABSTRACT: User behaviours, expectations and the products on the market are the first step of the research. User expectations are becoming more and more everyday. Functional products should be designed to communicate with the user and make the user delighted. Funcionality and being user friendly for the wc is made with the rimless system, soft closing lid and antibacterial material. CHALLENGE: First challenge is to design a wc with thin edges. Washbasin designs with thin edges and slim forms are produced with Fine Fire Clay(FFC) and special ceramic materials. Wall hung wc design is designed with thin edges and produced with Vitreous China(VC) ceramic. Second challenge is to combine geometric and organic forms with harmony.
