| DESIGN NAME: Leaf PRIMARY FUNCTION: Earrings INSPIRATION: Nature is one of the main sources of inspiration from which we learn about shapes, light, composition and textures. Then, we sit at the working table and start manipulating the metal with the aim of creating a new nature and vision. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This earrings are extremely simple and essential. One continuous piece of metal is folded creating the contour of a leaf. The metal is slightly textured through the hammering thecnique to increase the variety of light reflections. The finishing is either a mirror finish or an opaque one. The piece is light, both in its aesthetic and weight on the ear. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: These earrings are very light both in their aesthetic and in their weight. For this reason, they are comfortable on the ear and they can be worn for long time. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: - |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design is handmade and it can be realised in brass, aluminium, sterling silver or gold. We don't believe in first or second class metals, they all have unique qualities and properties that can be highlighted through the specific techniques used. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The piece is 35mm X 2mm X 95 mm. It can be realised in brass, aluminium, sterling silver or gold with the variation of one or two leaves. How to transform in idea, an inspiration, an image or a thought into a real object, with a specific function and an aesthetic presence?
