| DESIGN NAME: Tré PRIMARY FUNCTION: Nesting Tables INSPIRATION: Inspired in sailing boats, Tré combines circles, triangles and rectangles in a simplistic way. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Tré is a set of two nesting tables made form solid wood, both pieces consist of a solid triangular top surface with rounded corners, mounted on a three-leg base. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Suitable for the living area, Tré is intends to be a versatile nesting set. Tables could be placed as standalone pieces or together, they also can join the arms of a sofa. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Tré first set was designed and produced in 2013 as an especial design for a private customer in Mexico. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Furniture Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Woodworking, available in Oak, Ash and Walnut SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Large Table: 90 mm x 60 mm x 60 mm; Small Table: 66 mm x 44 mm x 45 mm TAGS: Side table, nest tables, furniture, modern, living room, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Several sketches were made and analyzed in order to find an estable and aesthetically well proportioned shape. CHALLENGE: Various sketches and 3D drawings were produced in order to find the proper shape.
