| DESIGN NAME: The Moon Shines the Huaxia PRIMARY FUNCTION: Series posters INSPIRATION: The first tells prehistory up until the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.It is the sprout of Chinese civilization.The second tells the progress from Qin Dynasty till the Eastern Jin Dynasty.It is the growing stage. The third tells from the Northern and Southern Dynasties to Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.Tang Dynasty is the top point of Chinese ancient art.The fourth tells from the Northern Song Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty. It is the maturely set phase.The last tells the art history of Ming and Qing Dynas. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Five thousand phylogeny of Chinese art is the economic and cultural phylogeny of China. “The moon shines the Huaxia” gives priority to the development of Chinese crafts art, which represents the grand and magnificent history of Chinese civilization in a panoramic way. Ups and downs in Chinese history, from primitive society to Qing Dynasty, are just like “the phase of the moon”, cloudy or sunny, full or empty. That is the reason why we call it “The moon shines the Huaxia”. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The five posters can be used alone, also can show in a series of ways. In form, the single poster let its content is more outstanding, communication a certain period of history of cultural and art information. And series of posters panoramically shows the sprout,the growing stage, the top point and the end phase of China's ancient culture. NAME: Na An PROFILE: The predecessor of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts was the Yanan-based Luxun Arts College founded in April 1938 by Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai, the first generation of CPC leadership.
