| DESIGN NAME: Starry Night PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lighting INSPIRATION: The "Starry Night" is inspired by the galactic cosmic that brings the calmness of the Starry nights into the atmosphere of the home after hard works during the day. It reflects constellation of ursa major known as "Seven Stars" and mythology behind it emergence into the start time marker for planting. These seven starry LEDs give a sense of dazzling and mysterious galaxy at nights! UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: "Starry Night" is a ceiling bedroom lamp made by black anodized metal and LEDs. This eye-catching "Seven Stars" lamp brings a sense of modernity to atmosphere of the home. The placement angle of the light has been designed with regard to ergonomic standards in a way that it provides a better and wider diffusion and illumination. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Sensing star lights and constellation os ursa major into atmosphere of home specially bedroom at nights, joining performance and aesthetic beauty together, emotional connection between "Seven Stars" and the user. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main body is made of black anodized metal and Lights are cool moonlit LEDs. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Radius of each stars = 4 cm Total length = 120 cm TAGS: Light, Lighting, Bedroom lighting, Ceiling light, Ursa major, Seven starts, Starry night, Constellation RESEARCH ABSTRACT: "Starry night" is designed with inspiration of constellation of ursa major known as "Seven Stars". A research about stars and space in conducted conceptually during the structural and emotional design process of the project. CHALLENGE: The main challenge is to join function and aesthetic beauty in on new concept of bedroom lamp, bringing the stars light to atmosphere of home and emotional connection between "Starry Night" and the user.
