RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project explores a new method of creating hospitality values in a corporate organization, one that is not corporate, formal and strict, but on the contrary to create a friendly, welcoming aesthetic using high quality, luxurious materials. Lighting and acoustic elements were the main driving force of the design process, translated into a coherent palette of acoustic fabrics that are artificially lit to create a skylight effect.
CHALLENGE: The challenge is to create a clear sense of direction and hierarchy of presenter and audience relationship, without creating a formal and strict atmosphere. The creative solution is a gridded arrangement of seats and wall panels that creates a sense of order, but allowing a random colour pattern to inject playfulness. The stage area has a clear geometry in a darker colour, in sharp contrast with the audience space.
