DESIGN NAME: FALESIA
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Center Table
INSPIRATION: Designed after the organic profile of Cliffs surrounding Natal, the center table is made of certified wood, finished with freijó, a typically Brazilian wood which also casts colour variances of regional sands. One of these formations has been translated into this coffee table in the same language as the iconic drawings that precede it, like the Dune. Aside from being light, this sculptural piece allies technology and art. The glass finishes the encounter with the sea.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The most impressive property of this furniture is that the user is abble to compose the interior with one, or many Falesias, and still get the conection between them. The structure finish and starts at the same point creating and impression of endless connection.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: the project started in july 2016 in Natal and finished in October 2016 in Gramado RS, and was exhibited in Fuori Salone 2016, at BRAZIL SA and Private Exhibition 2016.
