| DESIGN NAME: Prism PRIMARY FUNCTION: Desktop Gaming Computer INSPIRATION: Prism's development is inspired by gaming concept art, crystallized forms , as well as high-tech elements of nuclear power core, warp engine and advanced weapons. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Prism is a high performance desktop gaming PC created to be the flagship product of Taidu Technology, a company specialized in making equipments for the professional gamers in China. Prism is power, speed, imagination, ego, a legendary artifact taken from the fantasy worlds of the games. The aggressive and sculptural forms took the character of crystal because it often appears in games as a source of power and magic. It is intended to stand out from the conventional box looking computers. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project srated in August 2015 in Shanghai and finished in May 2016 in Shanghai. The final product launched in September 2016. |
