As the exterior body is partially cut, the interior particles are exposed - these particles are made of post-consumer recycled fibre and soft enough to function as cushions.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As a person sits or lies down inside C 39, one can experience partial encapsulation of the body, and physically interact with the interior particles.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The C 39 project is the morphological study of a pill as a furniture form. The project shows how the aesthetic value of a pill is translated into a functional seating.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge came from how to create an ideal seating form while maintaining its visual integrity as a pill. I attempted to keep its interior particles as original as I could.
