| DESIGN NAME: Purity PRIMARY FUNCTION: Faucets INSPIRATION: The inspiration source of the collection is the basic forms of the geometry and their continuity in a structure with an esthetics vision. E.C.A. Purity design idea is creating a minimalist form with geometric elements to modern buildings. In the light of these ideas, an elegant integrity is provided with the intertwining shapes on the composition of the products. In addition, pure and smooth surfaces emphasize the modernity of the contemporary places. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: E.C.A. Purity Collection composed of Basin, Sink and Bath Mixers is designed with the aim of the pure profile with combination of minimalist elements far from the complex details. All of the E.C.A. Purity mixers have the harmony that occurs with geometric forms one whole by intertwining. The soft transition in the details provides a cycle in conformity with the mathematics of the products. All-round soft surfaces and minimalist approach make the products an ideal choice for modern spaces. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: E.C.A. Purity basin and sink mixers are saving water nearly 50% with its water-saving aerator. The specially designed aerator is concealed within the spout allowing for a more streamlined look. The aerator combines water and air for a smooth and vibrant water flow. It contributes to water conservation and also supports green consumption. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in 2016 in Turkey. Products samples will be exhibited in ISH Frankfurt and Unicera Fair in Istanbul in 2017. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Fundamentally, E.C.A. Purity Collection is produced by processing of brass and chromium plating considering human health. Besides them, E.C.A. Purity has a special Hygiene Plus coating is produced by nano technology. Thanks to this specific coating, hygienic protection is provided on the armature surfaces. Additionally, E.C.A. Purity is respectful to human and nature with its ergonomic structure, three size of basin mixer to the consumer necessity and its efficient water-saving feature. The collection was based on the aesthetic sense of modern spaces and minimalism was prioritized. Considering the ergonomics, edges are softened, three sizes of basin mixers were approved to ease of use on different size of washbasin, 360° rotation swivel spout was provided on the sink mixer and bath mixer was designed in the most suitable ergonomic measure. CHALLENGE: E.C.A. Purity is separated to the other examples with its minimalist and geometrical approach. Its harmony that occurs with geometric forms one whole by intertwining and the collection makes a different with this concept. Soft edges, high-quality surfaces and elegant posture are making the products an ideal choice for modern spaces. Additionally, it supports to green consumption thanks to its water-saving aerator. NAME: E.C.A - Valfsel Armatür Sanayi A.Ş. PROFILE: Valfsel Armatur Sanayi A.S., a member of ELGINKAN GROUP, is manufacturing E.C.A. branded sanitary wares since 1978. The company, foundations of which were laid in 1957 as ECA Pres Döküm Sanayi Ltd. Şti., gained its legal entity in 1978 in İstanbul as Valfsel Armatür Sanayi A.Ş. Today with its two plants in Manisa Industrial Zone, the capacity has reached a total of manufacturing 5.000 tons of brass per year. Converted in pieces; we are able to produce 5.000.000 pieces of sanitary fittings such as faucets, sink mixers, basin mixers, bath mixers, shower mixers, bathtub mixers, electronic faucets, infrared mixers, thermostatic mixers, self closing taps, taps, shower sets, hand showers, shower columns and internal mechanisms for cisterns, etc. Today Valfsel has been employing 140 white collar and 320 blue collar employees in two plants. Along with its high capacity, Valfsel ranks among the important complete facilities when Casting, Forging, Multiple Shaft Automatic Machine, Multiple Station Processing, Polishing and Surface Coating starting from Design stage and Assembly Units finally, are taken into consideration.
