| DESIGN NAME: Darry Ring Jewelry Shop PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry Shop INSPIRATION: Darry Ring is a jewelry store located at Red Town, a famous artist village in Shanghai. The name Darry Ring comes from a combination of “Dear” and “Marry Ring”. It’s the client’s mission to help their customers find the most suitable marry ring for their dearest one. The designers have incorporated the theme of “forever and only one” to the design of this store. The designers use the purest color - white to highlight the pure love between couples, and to symbolize wedding and commitment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The brand concept behind the jewelry store, Darry Ring, is that true love could only happen once in a lifetime. This ‘once in a lifetime’ strong commitment enlightens the designers to evoke the message throughout the interior. Upon arrival, the eye-catching ribbon-like white decorations on the ceiling immediately draw the guests’ attention. Over the past 13 years, One Plus has been awarded over 400 international interior design awards from USA, Germany, Italy, UK and Japan. In 2012, One Plus was the sole winner of Andrew Martin The International Interior Design Awards - The International Interior Designer of the Year Award, the first ever Asia design company who has won this honor. This award is described as “The Oscars of Interior Design” by Sunday Times, it is now One Plus’ 12th consecutive year as a finalist of this award. In 2013, One Plus received the Gold Award in the world renowned iF Design Awards in Germany, as the first Hong Kong interior design company that has won this title, and then again won the Gold Award for the second time in 2016.
