DESIGN NAME: IBDC-2014 Promotional Images
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Visual Identity
INSPIRATION: During the creation of any work, 'tools' play an extremely important role. From a designer's standpoint, tools are the intermediary in the dialogue the designer has with the work. The point of each tool is to make the work increasingly perfect. Thus, we employed 'tools' as the main motif for the competition, combined that with the theme of 'bicycles', and merged technology with design on a visual level, to capture the creative spirit of designers and highlight IBDC’s core values.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: IBDC brings together experts in bicycle design from all over the world, and tasks them with revitalising the soul of cycling products, and thus continuously spur new trends that will spread throughout the global industry. Our key visual takes elements from bicycles and tools, and emphasises their mutual relationship, using creative images that explore their symbiotic nature, to express the quintessence of IBDC - unfettered inspiration.
