| DESIGN NAME: Ji Hotel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel INSPIRATION: Since hotel market rises rapidly in China and cities around China are growing quickly, the travel population is increased and the quality of travel is more and more important. Whether or not, the hotel accommodation service is eligible for local needs deserves to be discussed. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Most of hotels in China follow the western operation guide, but ignored the actual market needs. In Ji Hotel, as a china hotel chain, our design concept come from the Confucianism, five virtues: Gentle, Kind, Respectful, Simple and Courtly, we try to provide a whole new identity not just a copy. We purposely to blank the space, to block off the noise from outside, you will see the Zen decoration with pine tree, this become Ji hotel’s brand element. When everything is back to the original, the most directly feeling shows in front of us. We are hoping to make the essence based on our design, to true feelings but preciosity; everything is so familiar with and comfortable as well. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In this new Ji hotel, we expand the lobby area to accommodate more guests, consider the importance and convenient transportation in this location are going to attractive more guests. all the warm color materiel with simple and clean line, you won’t see any superfluous deco in here, the huge bookcase also become the partition in this multi-functional area. You will see many white books, this is the second cleanse for your vision, quantity and amount made the space with it’ stable, and the artworks surround also give you the feel inside the gallery, all we want to provide is to calm and quiet sense. NAME: Vermilion Zhou Design Group PROFILE: Vermilion Zhou Design Group was founded in 2002 in Shanghai, by Ray Chou, Creative Director, and Vera Chu, Lighting Design Director. Later joined by, Garvin Hung, the Director of Commercial Design. Three of them leaded the team accomplished over 600 interior design projects in China and overseas within the decade, and obtained the high reputation. Their projects are including public areas, commercial spaces, hotels, club house, offices and high-end residences. Vermilion Zhou Design Group pursues the high quality for all interspaces, and always trying to meet clients’ requirements and expectation and also put more consideration in turns of space function and environment planning. Except for interior design team, we also have the teams of architecture consultant, decoration, landscape planning and graphic design. All the teams are aiming to build the higher brand image for clients to improve the brand impression of their target customers. |
