DESIGN NAME: NEW LOOK?
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fashion Sculptures
INSPIRATION: The first thing that stood out when researching designers that are compatible to Steven is that lots off them are giving into the fast fashion system and are starting to make there exclusive couture collections more wearable every season. Let couture be art, not fashion.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Collection includes four sculptures
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2016 and finished in June 2016 in Utrecht. This is a graduation project for HKU (School of Arts Utrecht).

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Researched my point of view, the history of couture, photography, documentairy, modern couture, the fast fashion system and known silhouettes and techniques.
CHALLENGE: The hardest part was to find the right way of making sculpture and fashion come together. Also the search for the bizarreness in poses leaded to a lot of experiment with the human body.
