| DESIGN NAME: Wood Watch BERN PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wristwatch INSPIRATION: My love is wood...it started at my childoohd and came up in first wooden eyewear collections in the year 2009...i also designt some wooden watches and over the years the collections became better and better, the steps of creations are more and more filigree and durable, i got better contacts to importeurs of great woodtypes and it results in creating a wooden watch collection with high quality components with no competitors UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Every piece is unique and handmade, equipped with a swiss movement and sapphire glass for protection and perfectness. It is built up from the most exquisite woodtypes and pieces, every one is hand-selected and treated to get a momentum for time. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It shows the exact time and date PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project started in end of 2009 at atlantic coats france and finished in early 2016 in northern germany, bad zwischenahn. All steps are handmade and some are supported with CNC routers. every Details show the unique character of the design, the brand STADTHOLZ and the great vibes of every woodpiece. CHALLENGE: The hardest thing was to create something new in wristwatch sector and combine a great high quality movement with the material wood. Also hard to make it durable and wearable.
