INSPIRATION: Triumph door represents the good. It has a 22K gold door that is where we should all enter. A world of effort, dedication, creation, purpose, discipline. One place where we could be all one, and respect us all. A reminder to always contribute and be an asset in the world and ourselves. To grow, and make others grow. To look up and reach that golden door that we all have the potential to open and be triumphant.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Triumph door is a one of a kind ring made of Argentium Silver 935 and 22K bi-metal sheets. It consist of two soldered planes overlapping one another. The planes seem to float over three fingers while they move to the rhythm of the hand. The combination of colors and the texture of the planes make a beautiful contrast with the softness and length of the fingers. The metal is hand textured to make it look more organic and warm while the two rings are highly polish for comfort and contrast. A world of triumphant is a winning world.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This ring is a representation of the gold door we all work hard to reach, the person that feels attracted and interacts with this ring symbolizes that she is determined to get there. It gives the wearer a reminder of their goals and to continue to do their best to reach the Triumph Door in their lives.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Conversion of metal planes into balanced volumes and forms that can be delicate and bold, simultaneously, and that can adapt comfortably to the human anatomy and the natural movements of a person. Translating careful observation of the body’s anatomy and its movement into contemporary jewelry making and design.
CHALLENGE: Designing a double ring that would be worn on 2 fingers without restricting their freedom of movement; finding the specific gauge of silver square rod for the bands and overlapping them between the fingers without compromising the comfort and movement of the piece; positioning the angles of the shapes in order to work on top of 3 fingers and keep the lightly appearance and floating illusion of the ring over the fingers. Addressing of those challenges resulted in a comfortable piece of jewelry that can be worn without limiting the movement of the fingers or affecting the quality of the design.
