RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The reaserch identified the type of a seat that links people. Because of the way it is used, the posture that adopt a person when using the stool.
The project's main objective was to use local materials and uruguayan workforce.
There were made a lot of sketches before the last idea came up.
3D models were made, handmade and digital renderings, and a prototype were made before the production was started.
Several samples of upholstery felt were made, and finally two were chosen.
CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this design process was to make the legs stand up like there weren´t any joined structure.
The hand made felt makes the production have a human scale, detailed, loved but yet less dynamic
