| DESIGN NAME: The mystique appartment PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential design INSPIRATION: Who says black is always dull, who says red is always temperamental. To the owners of this house, they are happily married to this rich mystique colour. A generously approach that pushes usual to unusual; dull to functional hence developed a “colour-equals-fun UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In Asia, people associate red is harsh, black is negative. However the fundamental was to restore black to the original state; mysterious is creative & to rhythmically red as attraction. In terms of its usable space, the possible experience was to open a brand new composition; exploding the current confine space by turning kitchen, dining and living to a enlarge kitchen, dining and living. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This form of gesture elevate a simple lifestyle but the activity has sliced the heart of this house and made design & practical dance together as one concept. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The overall material was carefully select based on 2 main colour; Black and red. Black is a colour that need to re-experiment due to its finger-print issue, whereas red can be jarring therefore the entire experience was to create a sprinkler of surprised element SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 110 sqm TAGS: Black is mysterious red is appealing RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: Convincing the cultural and accepting the avoidance, is mainly the sculptural mass challenge. The entire process was carefully exercise by using “white & light” to bring black & red to a sheer beauty of cutting-edge.
